Eddie Soto
Executive Director of the Lake County Tech Hub and Business Incubator, and State of Illinois Certified Business Navigator with the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), Eddie Soto is certified as an IESBGA/SBA Business Specialist (CBDA) and SBA 7(J) in government contracting negotiations. Holds Harvard U certification in Contract Law. Prior, he spent 11 years at the College of Lake County (CLC) with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Grayslake, Vernon Hills, and helped open the Waukegan SBDC office, conducting over 2,700 client sessions, facilitating workshops and teaching business classes. Fluent in Spanish, Eddie also owns E.S. Online Enterprises, Inc., a global branding, and communications agency founded in 2005, and New Norm Biz, Inc. (2021). He brings 18 years as a small business owner and 24 years of corporate business management experience.
Diana Galarza
As the Graphics and Website Designer of the Lake County Tech Hub and Business Incubator, Diana specializes in graphic and web design. She received her Certificate in Web Design and Development at DeVry University (on December of 2019) and an Associate of Fine Arts at the College of Lake County. At her time in the LCTH, Diana has been re-designing and updating marketing material. Diana was born and grew up in Waukegan. She is fluent in Spanish.
Jon Lothan
Jon Lothan serves as a Program Analyst for GWDC where he assists with operations across each of GWDC's programs including marketing, budgeting, project coordination, and compliance. Born and raised in Highland Park, Jon attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. In his free time, Jon enjoys listening to podcasts and playing chess.
Shai Lothan
Shai is the President of the Greater Waukegan Development Coalition. He has more than 30 years of real estate experience in the construction, investment, and development fields. A graduate of the University of Denver, where he received training in real estate and economics, his diverse client and project list includes restaurants, not-for-profit organizations and related institutional uses, government entities, and large corporations.
